Our Queens are sold for $30.00 each at limited quantity for the months from March until mid-July. For quantities of five (5) or more queens, they are sold for $25 each.

To make sure the queens are kept safe, warm, and fed by attending worker bees, we suggest using a battery box for transportation. If you need to be provided one, they are $5.

Overwintered Nucs provide a quick resolution for many beekeeping problems and will rapidly increase in population to become a productive full-size colony.

A nuc, or nucleus hive, has a smaller colony of bees than a standard 8-frame or 10-frame hive. Bee Sanctuary Nucs are not made from “splits,” they are grown. From one frame of brood and a queen cell, we care and grow the colony until all 5-frames have brood and food, little to not foundation.

The advantage of this method is more bees for our customers. Our method allows the Queen to go through several brood cycles. By doing this, it allows us to “proof” the Queen. Colonies that do not meet our standard, are not sold.
